New PW Ministry - Prayer shawl ministry is a new addition to First Presbyterian Women's mission. shawls are knit or crocheted and given to someone going through a difficult time in their life. Each shawl is started with a prayer, constructed with prayers and given away with a blessing for the recipient. Shawls have been worn by men and women for centuries; a shawl is univesal and embracing. A special shawl gives comfort and solace to someone that needs just that. Hygiene Kits - At their Spring Gathering, Presbyterian Women collected items to make hygiene kits for Church World Service. The kits will be shipped soon for distribution world-wide.
